Workers’ Compensation Premium Recovery & Cost Reduction.

Premium Recovery & Cost Reduction
Recover potential overpayments. Reduce costs going forward.
Workers’ compensation is a major operating cost — and one that deserves a closer look.
TC Specialists works with experienced workers’ compensation specialists to review historical policies, premiums, and related records for potential overpayments and missed savings opportunities. Where additional savings opportunities exist, we can also help implement strategies designed to reduce workers’ compensation costs going forward.
No upfront fees. Our compensation is success-based — we only get paid when we recover savings for you.
Workers’ Compensation Premium Recovery
Have you paid more than you should have?
Workers’ compensation premiums are driven by multiple technical factors, including payroll, employee classifications, audits and experience-rating information. Errors or unfavorable treatment in any of these areas can result in significant overpayments.
TC Specialists conducts a detailed review of policies, audits and supporting records to identify potential premium recovery opportunities. Depending on the account, the review may uncover payroll or classification issues, audit discrepancies, experience-rating issues or other premium-related adjustments.
For employers with substantial premiums, even modest corrections can produce meaningful recoveries. This service is not limited to New York; opportunities can be evaluated for employers nationwide, subject to the rules applicable to each account.
From review through recovery, TC Specialists manages the process.

New York State Code Rule 60
A powerful opportunity to reduce future workers’ compensation premiums.
Qualifying New York employers may be eligible for meaningful workers’ compensation premium credits through the state’s Workplace Safety and Loss Prevention Incentive Program. The program can include approved workplace safety, return-to-work, and drug and alcohol prevention initiatives.
For employers qualifying for all three program components, available program materials indicate premium credits of up to 10% in the first approved year and up to 6% in subsequent approved years while qualification is maintained.
For businesses with significant workers’ compensation premiums, the savings can be substantial and recurring.
TC Specialists coordinates the process from eligibility review and program development through documentation, training, specialist evaluation, filing and ongoing program requirements – turning a complex opportunity into a structured, manageable process.
